Ryukin

A very beautiful, friendly calico that I absolutely fell in love with, despite not giving him a name. This guy was so fun and had such a personality. The very first day I got him, he was brave enough to bite any fingers that fed him. I tried very hard to save him, but my experience was too little and he died of flukes before I could properly treat him. For months afterward, I kept thinking about him and missing him, and I still do.
Black Moore

I bought this telescope with Ryukin from PetSmart. He only lived for two weeks, so I didn't have time to get attached. He was my first black moore, and was very fun to watch swim around the tank. His death was quite sudden, and I'm still not quite sure what killed him so fast. However, because of him, I'm more willing to try keeping another telescope one day.
Giovanni

I first saw Giovanni in PetSmart. She seemed like such a fun personality that I ended up buying her a few weeks later. Giovanni was my first "big fish", and had the cutest face when looking straight at you... and boy could she EAT! Her mouth was ginormous and she could swallow huge chunks of food no problem. She eventually died of an oddly quick and powerful strike of bacterial infection that lead to dropsy. Her death was uniquely hard to deal with, as I had to immediately switch my energy into another fish with dropsy (Phoebe). She was a delight to watch her "fluffy" tail saunter around the tank.
